Johnny and I attended grade school with each other but he was a grade ahead. Johnny and I had not really become close friends until high school years. He liked to be around all types of people and no matter who he was around he always blended in. He was the outgoing type and was liked by many people and knew just about everyone. Johnny’s boisterous life style made him a standout in crowds and was always the life of a party.
Johnny joined the group once he understood I was serious on the matter of Bigfoot. He was a full skeptic in the beginning. That changed after he was able to hear some Sasquatch communications one night when he stayed alone in the woods. After that, he was a believer!
He said to me, “The sounds I heard no human or bear could make”. I actually believe it shook him to his very core. Johnny then became a full fledged, full time searcher. He wanted to see what he heard.
Johnny also loved hiking and being in the wilderness. This is where he lies today as his ashes have been spread across the very area we searched. We honor our members and continue to remember the impact they made on us.
